Summer 2026 hasbeen a great one! Our daughter, Maya, turned 2, and we celebrated her birthdayin Izmir, Turkey. From there, we spent nearly two weeks exploring Paris andLyon. Looking back, it sounds a little crazy with a 2-year-old, but we’redefinitely not going to let that stop us from traveling!  Ask me about the challenges and we’ll share agood laugh. We made so manyfun family memories, from visiting the major sights to simply wandering around, exploring new neighborhoods, and eating as many croissants as we could. One ofthe biggest highlights for me was Disneyland Paris. I’ve never really been a Disneyperson, but seeing Maya’s face light up when she saw the characters andwatching her take it all in with such wonder is a moment I’ll never forget.

This summer was full of fun, family, and a little bit ofchaos. We spent plenty of time cooling off at the pool, attending baseballcamp, and celebrating my oldest son’s 12th birthday! The biggest adventure wasfiguring out life with a new baby, which meant lots of cuddles, smiles, crying, and pretending we knew exactly what we were doing. Between family outings andadjusting to our new routine, we made plenty of memories and somehow survivedthe summer with everyone smiling (mostly).

My family and I spent a wonderful week in the Outer Banks, where our days moved at a slower pace and were filled with plenty of laughterand time together. We relaxed by the beach, cheered our way through World Cupgames at the beach house, and enjoyed  bike rides around town with a fewice cream stops. Also attended a wedding! It was a great week to unwind, reconnect, and make some great memories.
